Raw Hide Ride 2
13th May 2012
Meet at Warr’s on the Kings Road for a breakfast of bacon & egg rolls, pastries, juice, coffee, tea etc., all courtesy of Warr’s Harley-Davidson, from 7.45am. Valid H.O.G. member cards obligatory. There’ll be a pre-ride briefing at 08.30am (no brief, no ride).
Again, we will be pushing the boundaries of the Sunday ride out with Raw Hide Ride 2. All to often you feel as though you could keep on riding, well this ride is the one you are looking for.
We will be making an early start and riding south to the New Forest and then to a well deserved lunch at The Crown Inn at Alvediston, a 15th Century thatched pub and restaurant.
The ride will continue after lunch returning via the Wiltshire Downs and across Salisbury Plain to the outskirts of London to ensure you are back in time for tea.
This will be a full days riding and we are expecting to cover 220 miles depending on the weather and number of riders participating. If you are an experienced rider seeking that extra challenge, then the choice is yours!
This is an official ride and qualifies towards the C&F riders patch and Precious Metal Rockers, more here.
David O’Flaherty - C&F Road Captain
Chelsea & Fulham H.O.G. operate a “No brief, no ride” policy. Please ensure your bike is refuelled before departure.
